Better Marketing Has a New Editor

A farewell from Nik (and hello from Brittany!)

Nik here with a kind-of big announcement: I’m stepping down as editor of Better Marketing and Brittany Jezouit is taking over.

The long and short of for me is that I worked hard for a long time, and it’s time to take a break, step back, and reflect. The long and short for Better Marketing is that the publication is in great hands and has a bright future.

I started my task at Better Marketing in May of 2019. Since then, we’ve grown from zero to 21 million lifetime views, nearly 100,000 followers on Medium, over 1,000 authors, and those authors have earned an estimated $250,000 in publishing their great work with us.

None of this would have been possible without our strong team of copy editors, marketers, leaders, and builders, all working together in the background to provide a mostly seamless publishing experience - which I hope, for the most part, it was. I owe a big thanks to all of them.

My biggest thanks, however, goes to you: I’m grateful for every single one of the over 4,000 articles you sent our way in that time, and I hope you’ve enjoyed - and will continue - sharing your work in Better Marketing.

As of Monday, Brittany Jezouit will take over. You should expect an email from her shortly.

I’m from Germany. We have a saying: You always meet twice in life. I’m sure I will meet most of you again, whatever form our interaction may take.
